Service Coordinator - Ayr, ON

Type of Employment: Full-Time

Essential Duties:

Provide Premier Equipment Ltd, customers with an above average level of customer support encouraging allegiance, professionalism, Customer Service Initiatives and Corporate initiatives on an everyday basis.

Promote Team Work and a “Customer First” commitment to all Branch and inter-Branch, Service, Parts and Sales departments.

Develop, maintain and adhere to a priority system for scheduling all service work, both customer and internal.

Schedule and assign jobs and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge.

Assist the Service Administrator with administrative responsibilities for the service department pertaining to internal, external and warranty work orders such as opening, maintaining, comments and invoicing.

Ensure that all manufacturer Warranty and Product Improvement Programs are completed according to manufacturer’s requirements.

Monitor WIP on a daily basis to achieve corporate goals.

Assist the service manager with the control of lost time to ensure the corporate goal of 85% productivity is met.

Promote all departmental marketing initiatives as provided.

Assist Service Manager with special events and projects as required.

Promote service work, contact customers to present quotes for repairs and obtain approvals.

Perform other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of the dealership.

Skills and Requirements:

3+ years experience in Service Department operations.

Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.

Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.

Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.

Excellent customer service skills.

High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of office procedures.

General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred.

Rotating Saturdays will be required.
